Organic Green Tea Extract

What is green tea extract?

Green tea and black tea come from the same plant, Camellia sinensis. For green tea, the leaves are heated soon after picking so they do not oxidize, which preserves their polyphenols. The main ones are catechins, including epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Green tea has long been part of daily rituals in East Asia. We use an organic extract of the leaves.
