Organic Jojoba Oil

What is jojoba oil?

Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is a shrub of the Sonoran Desert, in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Indigenous peoples of the region have long used its seeds to care for skin and hair. Pressed from those seeds, jojoba "oil" is in fact a liquid plant wax. Its composition is very close to sebum, the natural oil our skin makes. We use an organic jojoba oil.
