What is papaya fruit extract?

Papaya (Carica papaya) is a tropical fruit, naturally rich in vitamin C. It also brings natural fruit acids (AHAs) and papain, an enzyme that gently loosens the dull cells on the skin's surface. Because the enzyme does the work, exfoliation needs no harsh scrubbing.
