What is cloudberry?

Cloudberry (Rubus chamaemorus), the chicouté well known on Québec's North Shore, is an amber berry that grows wild in the peat bogs of the boreal north, all the way to Scandinavia and Siberia. Gathering it each summer is a long-standing northern tradition. In our formulas, we use an extract of the fruit.
